Bakas Media is the publication of Rick Bakas, an AI operator who writes about AI, quantum computing and crypto.

I write for people who use these technologies, not just people who trade them. Each piece starts with a question someone actually asks an AI engine. It answers that question in the first paragraph, then shows the sources.

Who is Rick Bakas?

I spent eight years at Nike, across Team Jordan, the NFL and the Oregon Ducks. In 2017 I built ABBI, a conversational AI for marketing and sales, five years before ChatGPT. ABBI powered Flowsent to $1M in revenue in its first year with zero ad spend, and Forbes covered it. In 2021 I launched a tokenized asset project on Solana. Since September 2026 I’ve been CMO of Longbow, the credit layer for Robinhood Chain.

How is Bakas Media written?
